The first
rink built in Singapore was in 1974 in Taman
Jurong. A few months later a new rink Ice Palace
was set up in Kallang Leisure Park. Unfortunately
the two rinks were closed down in 1978.
Revival in ice-skating came when Fuji Ice Palace
was first set up in 1988 at the former Rex Theater
til 1992 and now it is relocated to the current
location in Jurong Entertainment Centre since
September 1994.
